Releases o Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Packages o bsdiff - generate/apply a patch between two binary files Details It was discovered that bsdiff mishandled certain input. If a user were tricked into opening a malicious file, an attacker could cause bsdiff to crash or potentially execute arbitrary code. Update instructions The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions: Ubuntu 16.04 o bsdiff - 4.3-15+deb8u1build0.16.04.1 In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
